The Novotel Sydney Rooty Hill is currently seeking a Front Office All Rounder who can assist our guests to feel at home throughout their stay from check in to check out, creating memorable experiences by sharing your hotel and local knowledge. 


Guest satisfaction being exceeded is paramount in this 4.5 star rated property, and the presentation of our staff is a pivotal part of this highly successful hotel.



  • Providing exceptional customer service by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout their stay.
  • Understand and deliver on brand standards and develop them even further.
  • Assisting guests with requests and memorable experiences by sharing your hotel and local knowledge.
  • Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of guest amenities and ensuring the security of our guests and their possessions.
  • Daily liaison with inter-departments such as food & beverage and housekeeping for guest movements, requests and activities.
  • Meeting and exceeding guest expectations and handling customer complaints in an efficient and proactive manner.
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ensuring procedures are followed in relation to guest confidentiality and the issuing of room keys.
  • Maintaining procedures in relation to payment documentation.



  • Prior hotel experience in Front Office operations
  • Excellent time management ability
  • Professional phone manner
  • Previous experience with a PMS, Opera or Fidelio (will be highly regarded)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Available to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends as per our business demands
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • A passion for hospitality and enthusiasm for working with people
  • Responsible service of Alcohol competency card (or willingness to obtain)
  • A professional and friendly attitude
  • Great work ethic and reliability
