Our Concierge team members are the first point of contact our Members and Guests have with our establishment. With both face to face and over the phone interactions our Concierge team welcome all guests, sign them in, handle all enquiries and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
We are currently seeking a bright and enthusiastic customer service professional to join this important team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this full time position you are the welcoming face and first impression for our Members and Guests as they enter the Rooty Hill RSL.
This position also involves ensuring the appropriate legislative processes are performed accurately when allowing people entry into the venue.
Outstanding customer service is at the forefront of this role, along with excellent presentation and communication skills. Applicants must be able to keep up to date with current activities across the precinct and have a willingness to obtain knowledge of the products and services available across the business. Concierge are required to work a rotating roster which incorporates day, night and overnight shifts and the successful applicant must have full working availability.
CONCIERGE DUTIES INCLUDE
Meeting and greeting all Members and Guests with a smile and helpful disposition
Providing excellent customer service when dealing with questions and enquiries
Answering telephone enquiries in a helpful and professional manner
Keeping a watchful eye out for guests who may need help and Initiating assistance
Providing retail service at "The Cellar" outlet as required
Signing in guests and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation upon customers entry into the Club (i.e Registered Clubs Act, Security Industry Act, Liquor Act and Gaming Regulations)
Proactively provide information about the Clubs activities whilst promoting the facilities, promotions and membership
Liaising with security personnel
Ensuring the reception and lobby areas are clean, tidy and well maintained and escalate maintenance and cleaning issues as needed
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Exceptional customer service ability, both face to face and over the phone
Experience in a face to face customer service role
General knowledge of hospitality industry is advantageous
Ability to be effective in peak periods and quieter periods
Ability to quickly learn about the organisation and its products and services
Must have RSA and RCG (or be willing to obtain one)
Full working availability and a willingness to work a rotating roster with a variety of shifts including; mornings, afternoons, nights, over nights, weekends and public holidays
Must have unlimited work rights in Australia (Citizen or Resident of Australia or New Zealand).
Internal applicants must have good work history and performance and have been in their current role for a minimum of 6 months
